State of the Art Family Entertainment Center

ShopKo Family Entertainment Center (FEC) Project – New Town, ND

The MHA Nation has purchased a 30,000 SF ShopKo Home Goods store on a 2.13-acre site located at the intersection of College Drive and HWY 23 in New Town, ND with the intention of renovating the existing pre-engineered metal building into a high-energy mixed-use Family Entertainment Center (FEC), and a retail mall with a home goods bulk retail store and several boutique shops.

The family entertainment center will include a sports bar family-style restaurant, cosmic bowling, indoor basketball court, a rock-climbing wall, arcade games, laser tag, virtual reality simulation games and private birthday party rooms. The building design will become an iconic focal point for travelers approaching New Town from the east and will provide shopping, dining and family fun experiences to the local community and visitors statewide.

RML Architects is providing conceptual design scheduled to run from August through October 2021.

Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in the spring of 2022 with the Grand Opening anticipated in early 2023.
